4. (15 points) Ingredients: What's in it, how natural is it?

5. (10 points) Preparation: When applicable, how accurate or good are the directions?*

6. (5 points) Appearance: Is it appetizing and does it resemble its photo or description?

7. (5 points) Packaging: Is it appropriate for the product and does it have any benefits such as reseal ability, added freshness, better storage, etc?

*Products that do not require any preparation will have the full value of these points included in their total score.

Probugs Organic Whole Milk Kefir Sublime Slime Lime

Kefir, which means "feel good" in Turkish, is an ancient, cultured, enzyme-rich food filled with friendly micro-organisms that help aid in maintaining optimal health and strengthening immunity. This creamy probiotic dairy beverage is similar to, but distinct from, yogurt. Its effervescent quality stems from the kefir culture, which contains ten active "friendly" micro-organisms, compared to two or three in yogurt. This is a cleverly packaged, healthy, organic product made for kids. We think kids will love it, although the sublime lime flavor is a little too "sublime." Ronzoni Smart Taste Spaghetti

If you don't really enjoy the taste of wheat pasta, you can still get the same amount of fiber you may be looking for in this one. New from Ronzoni, this white pasta claims on the package to have three times the fiber and calcium equal to an 8-oz glass of milk. We aren't sure that comparing the calcium content to a glass of milk makes sense, as pasta is not really a substitute for milk. And we're not sure that pasta needs to be calcium enriched, but it certainly can't hurt. At any rate, it's a great tasting spaghetti that serves up a little extra nutritional benefit. Slim-Fast Protein Snack Chews Caramel

We've seen several products in the last couple of years packaged in 100 calorie servings, everything from snack foods to cookies to soda. And, we think it's a great idea to offer a diet candy this way, as portion control is key to facing the problem of obesity in America. But, as to be expected, the flavor of these five individually wrapped snack chews swings between a Bit-O-Honey and cardboard. It was mostly some sort of liquid base with so little of what was supposed to be faux sea food and some veggies. I did not use some, in fact, I threw it out.
